Ball State University Athletics is seeking an enthusiastic and student-centered Assistant Softball Coach to join our softball program and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our student-athletes. This position will assist with all aspects of the softball program, including practice and game preparation, skill development, scouting and recruiting, player development, and team operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent.
• Collegiate playing experience and/or softball coaching experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under university policy.

Responsibilities

• Teach and instruct student-athletes; develop players on and off the field.
• Assist head coach with program management and planning practices.
• Support scouting, recruiting, and player development activities; manage travel and logistics.
