Job summary

Goodwill Kentucky is hiring a Training Facilitator to coordinate and deliver programs that promote personal, educational, and employment development for participants in the Goodwill Works Soft Skills Academy.

You will develop workshops, prepare lesson plans, and collaborate with Career Coaches to explore education and career opportunities while building partnerships with community speakers and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or years of experience in Education, Facilitation, or related fields.
• Previous work with individuals facing employment barriers is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license in home state, and insurability per Goodwill policy.

Responsibilities

• Develops and facilitates workshops for participants in Goodwill Works Soft Skill Academy on topics including soft skills, job readiness, life skills, financial literacy, leadership, entrepreneurship, and others.
• Prepares daily lesson plans according to established standards.
• Collaborates with Career Coaches to facilitate education and career exploration opportunities (e.g., college, employer tours).
• Develops relationships with community partners for guest speakers on topics like self-esteem, prevention/abuse, social media, diversity, financial empowerment, and career pathways.
• Maintains a database of resources and training materials and helps staff connect participants to these resources.
• Maintains collaboration with Program Services staff to ensure seamless transition to employment after program completion.
