Job summary

Pharmavite seeks an Encapsulation Operator in Alabama (Opelika) to ensure smooth production of soft gelatin capsules meeting quality standards. You will feed materials, adjust controls, monitor ribbon thickness and temperature, and perform routine changeovers and cleaning.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and English fluency, with 1 year encapsulation experience preferred. This shift runs 6 pm–6:30 am on a 2-2-3 schedule, and safety and GMP compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent English to read/understand instructions and maintain records.
• Accurate arithmetic to calculate weights and batch timelines.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate hand tools safely.
• Commitment to safety, GMP, and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate encapsulation equipment to produce soft gelatin capsules per procedures.
• Adjust controls, monitor ribbon thickness and temperature, and ensure correct fill weights.
• Troubleshoot equipment; perform changeovers and routine cleaning between batches.
• Maintain logs and data entry; handle material transfers and stack drying trays.
