Job summary

KBR is seeking a Special Operations Strength and Conditioning Specialist at Fort Benning, GA to advance physical performance of SOF personnel. You will design protocols, deliver instruction, and collaborate with medical and performance teams to ensure safe, efficient training in garrison, TDY, and deployment settings.

Required DoD eligibility, NSCA CSCS or CSCCa certification, and a bachelor’s in a related field; 5+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited discipline related to exercise science.
• Certification by NSCA CSCS or CSCCa SCCC is required.
• Minimum 5 years of program development experience with athletes or SOF operators.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Physically able to lift up to 25 kilograms.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and guide physical training and injury prevention.
• Design, evaluate, and document training protocols for SOF personnel.
• Coordinate programs with HP staff for return-to-training after injury.
• Refer medical concerns to providers for evaluation.
• Collaborate with sports medicine, mental performance, and nutrition teams.
• Develop facility SOPs and training guidelines for equipment use.
• Attend meetings and disseminate information for continuous improvement.
• Maintain required training and participate in education programs.
• Maintain records of utilization, workload, and training activities.
• Create and update training materials as requested.
