Job summary

Maximus seeks a Community Program and Peer Network Coordinator to support POTFF for USSOCOM. The role helps SOF personnel and families with community-based and peer-support programs, reporting to contract management and working with DoD resources.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of related experience. The position is remote within the continental US under a federal contract with security considerations.

Qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
• - Minimum of two years of related experience.
• - Bachelor's degree in education, human services, social work, public health, psychology, or a related field.
• - Experience supporting program development, peer-support services, prevention initiatives, crisis intervention, community outreach, or social-service planning.
• - Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data and outcomes.
• - Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, organization, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• - Supervise a team of employees through cultivation of a high performance team.
• - Ensure adequate staff coverage for assigned program area.
• - Serve as subject matter expert for identified area of program knowledge.
• - Ensure assigned team is meeting contract and individual SLA's, and related requirements.
• - Work with contract management and shared services to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies.
• - May attend client and stakeholder meetings.
• - Performs other related duties as assigned.
• - Lead or support assessment, planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of community-based and peer-mentoring programs.
• - Organize and oversee peer-support networks, including recruiting, training, and coordinating peer counselors.
• - Collect, analyze, document, and report qualitative and quantitative data to support evaluations.
• - Identify program and service gaps and develop targeted initiatives.
• - Connect SOF personnel and families with DoD resources such as Military OneSource and counseling services.
• - Review and provide recommendations on policies, procedures, and processes.
• - Collaborate with multidisciplinary partners across military and civilian entities.
• - Promote proactive help-seeking, resilience, and suicide-prevention initiatives.
