Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC is seeking a senior Cloud Engineer for the SOF AT&L program at MacDill AFB, FL. The role focuses on cloud, DevSecOps, and enterprise software integration across multi-cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in technical engineering, DoD experience, and RMF knowledge, with strong Kubernetes and Agile SAFe implementation skills. On-site position, requiring TS/SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship required.
Clearance: TS w/SCI eligibility.
Bachelor’s in a technical field; Master’s preferred.
10+ years of technical engineering experience, including: 5+ years DoD experience; 3+ years in Cloud architecture/Kubernetes/DevSecOps; experience modernizing enterprise IT; RMF experience; software and systems integration.

Responsibilities

Provide expert engineering leadership for Cloud, DevSecOps, and enterprise software integration.
Review engineering change proposals and DoDAF artifacts; assess multi-Cloud operations.
Apply RMF knowledge to ensure security and accreditation compliance.
Advise on Cloud platform selection and Kubernetes orchestration.
Lead Agile SAFe ceremonies and cross-team coordination.
Support DoD software testing methodologies and required documentation.
Coordinate with managers, budget personnel, and stakeholders.
