Job summary

Agile IT Synergy, LLC is seeking a Senior Communications and Network Engineer to support SOF technology integration initiatives at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL. The role focuses on architecting, testing, and evaluating complex communication platforms in contested environments to drive next-generation capabilities for mission-critical operations.

The candidate should have 10+ years of DoD/SOF experience, be a US citizen with an active Top Secret clearance, and be prepared to work onsite daily at

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE/CS or related field; relevant experience may substitute.
• 10+ years of experience supporting DoD/SOF communication systems.
• Experience with Link 16 and SATCOM across multiple orbital paths.
• Ability to architect, test, and evaluate complex communication platforms in contested environments.
• U.S. citizen with active DoD Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead test and evaluation activities for advanced communications and networks.
• Architect, configure, and manage airborne and ground networks for demos and assessments.
• Serve as liaison for network integration with USSOCOM PEO and stakeholders.
• Analyze network performance in contested RF environments.
• Develop test reports and briefings for leadership.
• Install and integrate communications equipment on various platforms for test events.
• Work onsite daily at MacDill AFB, FL.
