Job summary

Apogee seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support the SOF AT&L PEO-M maritime portfolio at MacDill AFB, FL. The role involves evaluating programs, developing project plans, delivering status briefings, and supporting contract changes with senior government and industry stakeholders.

Requirements include a BS in engineering, 10 years of systems engineering or integration experience, DAWIA Level II or equivalent, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance with SCI

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering; 10 years of systems engineering experience required.
DAWIA Level II (or equivalent) in Engineering/PM/S&T or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Experience with Navy/submarine or naval ship design, construction, or certification preferred.
Strong ability to interpret design concepts and communicate via working drawings or CAD.

Responsibilities

Evaluate programs and development plans using multi-discipline engineering knowledge.
Develop and gain approval for proposed projects with budget and engineering authorities.
Prepare inputs for leadership status briefings on assigned programs and projects.
Support contract modification processes and provide technical change recommendations.
Apply advanced tools to document and analyze critical engineering activities.
