Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field with two years of lab experience.
• Extensive experience with molecular biology techniques.
• Experience with recombinant protein expression and purification.

Responsibilities

• Perform molecular biology techniques, including PCR, DNA isolation, cloning, sequencing, and construct generation.
• Perform mammalian and insect cell culture, recombinant protein expression, protein purification, biochemistry, and ligand-binding assays.
• Perform cryo-EM experiments, grid preparation, data collection, image processing, and 3D structure determination.
• Design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments to achieve research objectives.
• Manage research projects of moderate scope and evaluate feasibility of approaches.
• Train laboratory personnel in experimental techniques and SOPs.
