Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in social work or related human services field (sociology, gerontology, etc.).
• One year supervised social work experience in a health care setting is preferred.
• Current Social Work license in the state as required by state regulations (LSW/LMSW/LCSW/LBSW/LLBSW/LLMSW preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervises psychosocial support and services provided by Social Worker and Social Services Designee.
• Interviews, recruit hires and trains employees as needed.
• Plans, assigns, and directs workflow to ensure resident safety and quality care.
• Receives calls and finds replacements for absent staff; coordinates staff transfers.
• Prepares performance evaluations and handles employee relations within policy and law.
