Ascension is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health role at Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh, WI. The position supports patient-centered care within the Behavioral Health department and includes daytime shifts.

Minimum credentials include Wisconsin licensure as a clinical counselor, counselor or social worker, with case management CCMC preferred. A high school diploma with experience or an associate's/technical degree is acceptable for education requirements.

• Licensed Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Social Worker credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Case Manager credentialed from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC).

• Support Complex Needs: Serve as a frontline resource to assess, navigate, and support legal, substance abuse, crisis, and psychosocial challenges.
• Advocate for Patients: Proactively remove barriers to care and connect individuals with critical community resources.
• Collaborate for Continuity: Maintain continuous dialogue with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure seamless transitions and responsive health plans.
• Inform & Document: Help shape post-discharge strategies and ensure precise documentation to align treatment options with patient needs.

• Preferred Credential(s):

• Case Manager credentialed from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC).

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
