Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech/Social Worker for a 13-week assignment in Oklahoma. The role requires a Master’s degree in a clinical field, 5+ years of clinical experience (2+ in a similar position), and an unrestricted state license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).

BLS certification is mandatory. Responsibilities include screenings, assessments, treatment planning, counseling, crisis intervention, and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or related clinical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a comparable role.
  • Unrestricted, independent clinical license in applicable state (e.g., LCSW/LISW, LPC/LCPC/LPC-MHSP, LMFT/LCMFT/LIMFT, LISW, LMHC, LPCC, LSCSW).
  • BLS certification is required.

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks + Possible Extension

Pay Rate: $2250-$2500/week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mental health screenings and comprehensive assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews with inmates.
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on clinical needs and level of functioning.
  • Provide individual counseling, mental health treatment, and crisis intervention services.
  • Document assessments, treatment plans, interventions, and evaluations accurately in health care records.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive clinical information and records.
  • Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques appropriately when providing treatment.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide timely and appropriate mental health support to address the needs of inmates.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with facility policies, clinical standards, and applicable regulations.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a comparable position.
  • Must hold an unrestricted, independent clinical license in the applicable state of practice. Accepted licenses include:
