Job summary

Cumberland County's Performance Management Division seeks a seasoned leader to direct the Staff Development training team, ensuring curricula align with federal and state laws. You will supervise staff, manage multi-platform training, and contribute to curriculum development while coordinating with local, state, and federal partners.

The role requires extensive knowledge of social work principles and the ability to deliver training across in-person, virtual, and on-demand formats.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field with several years of directly related experience.
• Experience supervising training staff and leading curriculum development.
• Knowledge of federal/state Children’s and Adult services laws, policies, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct design and delivery of specialized training programs.
• Supervise Staff Development training staff.
• Manage a multi-platform training system (in-person, virtual, on-demand).
• Develop curricula and deliver training when necessary while collaborating with partners.
