Job summary

The Cumberland County Department of Social Services seeks a Program Manager for the Child Protective Services Section. This role will develop and supervise program compliance, monitor standards, and guide two Social Work Supervisor IIIs along with a Social Work Supervisor II.

The position requires advanced social work education and supervisory experience, with duties including policy revision, program development, and reporting to Division Chiefs. Occasional schedule adjustments may occur.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or counseling with supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in social work with four years of social work or counseling experience, two in supervision.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor and supervise program compliance and standards for Child Protective Services.
• Plan programs meeting needs of a multi-problem client population and interpret data to policy.
• Generate management reports reflecting program effectiveness, fiscal accountability and QA.
