Job summary

People Inc. is seeking an Associate Content Creator for the PEOPLE brand in New York. You will ideate, shoot, edit and deliver social-first videos for PEOPLE’s channels, shaping content from concept to post, and collaborating with reporters, editors, and designers.

You will attend red carpet events, produce interview cuts, and help pre-produce major shoots while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining the brand voice across verticals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications, related field or equivalent training and/or experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Proficiency editing videos in Adobe Premiere.
• Strong understanding of social media with a focus on Gen Z audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience with content management systems.

Responsibilities

• Pitch and create compelling social videos.
• Work closely with reporters, editors, social video producers, designers and the Video team.
• Conduct interviews and produce talent.
• Attend events on behalf of brand and capture content and other duties as assigned.
