People Inc. in New York seeks an Associate Content Creator to turn ideas into original, exclusive videos for PEOPLE’s social channels and app.

You will pitch, shoot, edit and deliver assets, working with celebrity talent and the social video team to craft scroll-stopping content. You will attend red carpet events, produce quick-cut pieces during breaking news, and assist the Senior Content Creator with pre-productions—developing interview questions and fun concepts that fit the People brand

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a fast-paced, creative media environment.
• Proven success in growing audiences for digital brands.

Responsibilities

• Pitch and create compelling social videos for PEOPLE platforms.
• Collaborate with reporters, editors, social video producers, designers and the Video team.
• Conduct interviews and produce talent content.
• Attend events to capture content and support major shoots.
