Dotdash Meredith's PEOPLE is seeking an Associate Content Creator in New York to bring original, exclusive videos from idea to execution for our social channels and the PEOPLE app. You will pitch, shoot, edit and deliver engaging content featuring celebrity talent and breaking news.

You will collaborate with reporters and editors, attend red-carpet events, and help the team meet deadlines with a keen eye for social-first storytelling and data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Proficiency editing videos in Adobe Premiere.
• Expertise in TikToks and Reels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and familiarity with content management systems.

Responsibilities

• Pitch and create compelling social videos.
• Collaborate with reporters, editors, social video producers, designers and the Video team.
• Conduct interviews and produce talent.
• Attend events on behalf of the brand and capture content.
• Assist Senior Content Creator with pre-productions for major shoots and develop scroll-stopping social concepts.
