Job summary

Caldwell Independent School District High School is seeking a Teacher (Exempt/Professional) to provide students with engaging learning experiences in the core subject area and to help them develop essential competencies. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• One year student teaching or approved internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill district curriculum requirements and show evidence of preparation.
• Plan and use instructional strategies, activities, materials, equipment, and technology reflecting diverse learning styles and needs.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement and use results to plan activities.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEP guidelines.
• Manage classroom environment and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
