Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the district curriculum requirements.
• Prepare lessons with accommodations for different learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and policies.
• Plan instructional strategies reflecting students' needs and learning styles.
• Assess student learning and adjust activities accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Supervise teacher aides/volunteers and use technology to enhance learning.
• Communicate with parents, students, and staff to maintain professional relationships.
