Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum with accommodations for student differences.
• Plan instructional strategies and materials reflecting students' learning styles and needs per TEA guidelines.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP requirements.
• Work with staff to determine instructional goals and assign work to aides/volunteers.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and safety; manage student behavior.
