Start your career in public service: The Social Services Specialist 1 (Caregiver Recruitment and Retention Unit) works in a regional unit, but specific to Region 13.
Under limited supervision, the Caregiver Recruitment and Retention Specialist I has the ability to assess individual and family strengths, limitations and needs; maintain a non-judgmental, strength-based, positive attitude towards families in crisis; synthesize information and write thorough reports; work independently and as an effective team member; demonstrate sensitivity to cultural, ethnic and socioeconomic differences; and organize and prioritize work.
