County of San Benito seeks a Social Services Program Manager to assist in planning, development, and supervision of multiple social services programs within the Health and Human Services Agency. The role encompasses coordination with the Deputy Director, staff supervision, and collaboration with community partners to ensure program effectiveness.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of supervisory experience in social services programs.

Qualifications

A typical way to obtain the required knowledge, skills and abilities would be: a Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college; preferably in a related field.
Two years of responsible experience supervising, managing, or administering social services related programs (i.e. APS, CPS, or programs in Community Services and Workforce Development)

Responsibilities

Assist the Health and Human Services Deputy Director in planning, organizing and supervising the work of Social Workers and support staff in their assigned units.
Plan, organize, direct and supervise staff in assigned divisions; inform, advise, and/or request consultation on program changes and their impact; oversee program changes and coordination with stakeholders.
Represent the department at community meetings and hearings as assigned; coordinate with state and county partners on program development and compliance.
