Job summary

Arcadia Care Kewanee is seeking a Social Services Director to oversee the Social Services department and ensure residents' psychosocial needs are met in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will assess needs, develop care plans, and coordinate with medical staff to support holistic resident care.

The role requires leadership experience in social work within a nursing facility, strong communication, and a commitment to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Two years of job-related experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Experience with social work, preferably working directly with patients and their family members at a nursing facility.
• Detail oriented, computer literate and possesses excellent communication skills.
