Job summary

Nexus Health in Sauget, IL seeks a Social Services Director to oversee planning and implementation of social services programs in our facility. You will recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, and apply evidence-based treatment modalities including wellness recovery action plans and trauma-informed care.

The role emphasizes coordinating referrals, providing clinical supervision of treatment personnel, and developing performance improvement tools to improve care delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to delegate authority.
• Experience with direct care of individuals with psychiatric disorders and supervisory responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must meet the definition of a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts as defined by the Illinois Mental Health Code (LCSW, LCPC, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, PMHNP, LMFT, etc.)
• At least two (2) years of experience in direct care of individuals with psychiatric disorders
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to act decisively and delegate authority
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
