Social Services Assistant Position Summary

As the Social Services Assistant at Francis Marion Manor, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Assist the Social Services Department.
• Meet with and assist residents and their families with medically related services, grievances, or other placement needs to help maintain the highest quality of care.
• Facilitate residents’ safe transition upon discharge as well as facilitate transportation for appointments or other scheduled events.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
• Perform all other assigned tasks as directed by the Administrator, Director of Nursing, or corporate team.

Social Services Assistant Requirements

• 1 year of supervised social work experience in healthcare
