Job summary

The Louisiana Department of Health is seeking Social Services Analysts 1–3 in Louisiana to assess eligibility for Economic Stability Programs, interview clients, and guide them through program requirements to ensure successful participation.

Three years of social services experience or six years in any field, or a bachelor's degree are acceptable. Substitution rules apply; SER pay rates are listed for the different SSA levels.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in social services; OR
• Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR
• A bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Determine Eligibility for Economic Stability Programs by gathering and analyzing client information and applying laws and policies.
• Provide Quality Customer Service and Program Guidance with respectful, unbiased support.
• Manage and Document Caseloads and Case Activity with accurate records.
• Serve as Lead Analyst and Mentor to new staff and support ongoing performance development.
• Support Supervisory and Operational Functions including workload balancing and reporting.
• Ensure Quality Control and Compliance with state and federal rules and policies.
• Provide Training, Representation, and Community Engagement in policy matters.
