Job summary

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field.
• Licensed as required by the state of employment.
• One year of social work experience in a long-term care environment.
• One year supervisory experience in a setting service setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the social services department in day-to-day operations, set job assignments and priorities.
• Develop goals and objectives for the department and motivate care team members.
• Ensure effective orientation and ongoing education for new staff.
• Coordinate relationships with regulatory agencies, residents, and families; participate in family orientation and family council.
• Assist in preparing and administering the department budget and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide direct psychosocial intervention and conduct resident assessments at admission and during changes.
