Job summary

Majestic Care of South Bend is seeking a Social Service Director to lead the Social Service department in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy. You will supervise staff, set priorities, and ensure ongoing education while maintaining strong relationships with regulatory agencies, residents, and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field is required.
• One year of social work experience in a long-term care environment.
• One year of supervisory experience in a service setting.
• Certification as required by the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the social services department in day-to-day operations.
• Develop goals and objectives for the department and motivate staff.
• Ensure effective orientation and ongoing education for care team members.
• Develop relationships with regulatory agencies, residents and families.
