Job summary

PHOENIX Internship Program supports the Express brand with a Summer Social Media Internship at the Columbus, Ohio headquarters. The 10-week, paid program runs June 2 through August 5 and offers hands-on experience in social media, workshops, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include monitoring social media trends, engaging with content, assisting with Sprout Social workflows, and participating in team meetings; relocation to Columbus is required for the internship.

Qualifications

• Available to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks.
• Embrace a four-days-in-office approach.
• Willing to relocate to Columbus, OH office location.
• Commit to the full 10-week program (June 2–August 5).
• Preferred GPA at or above 3.2.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of social media news, conversations and trends.
• Monitor TikTok and YouTube Shorts trends daily.
• Look for UGC and trending posts on Instagram and TikTok to engage with daily.
• Assist with social posting, tagging and LinkInBio asks in SproutSocial.
• Attend weekly/bi-weekly/ad hoc team meetings.
• Conduct competitive research for social campaigns as requested.
• Remain current with best practices, strategies and industry standards related to social media.
• Active social media user with working knowledge of notable platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.).

Overview

The PHOENIX Internship Program is a 10-week, paid program that offers rising Junior and Senior undergraduates and graduate students the opportunity to work with and learn from experienced professionals while gaining exposure to a multi-brand retail company. The internship program provides hands-on experience in an area of interest and cross-functional collaboration while developing valuable professional skills.

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is a retail platform operating the Express and Bonobos brands worldwide. Express is a multichannel apparel brand dedicated to a design philosophy rooted in modern, confident and effortless style whether dressing for work, everyday or special occasions. Bonobos menswear brand is known for being a style instigator and offering perfect-fit risks through our innovative retail model and personalized experience.

The Social Media Summer Internship position will support our Express brand. The Summer 2027 Internship Program takes place from June 2nd to August 5th. This internship is located at our Headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
