Compound Content Studio is an agency building social-led content engines for B2B companies, trusted by 50+ startups. We serve B2B SaaS clients primarily in the marketing tech, GTM tech, and eCommerce infrastructure fields.

The agency is growing quickly, and we are looking to hire a contract Social Media Strategist to support content strategy & creation for our founder and company pages. You will get to work directly with our founder to shape the content strategy for our agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and build social media content calendars based on business goals and relevant topics
  • Strategize and execute engaging social media content with an emphasis on platforms like LinkedIn + Instagram. You'll also occasionally repurpose content to X/Twitter, though this isn't as much of a priority.
  • Repurpose long-form content, like newsletters or YouTube videos, into social-native content for Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Concept and script short-form video content for social platforms like Instagram & LinkedIn
  • Collaborating with an in-house creative team (designers, editors) to develop compelling visuals for social media content calendars.
  • Reviewing ongoing analytics and optimizing content performance across all channels ongoing.
  • Conducting ongoing trend research and making recommendations on where to participate to increase brand exposure.
  • Collaborate with other team members using Slack + Notion.
  • Continually brainstorm new ideas and concepts for social media & long-form content.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a social media professional, with specific experience in B2B social media (LinkedIn, Instagram experience preferred)
  • Proven track record writing high-performing LinkedIn & Instagram content, both long-form and short-form.
  • Familiarity with the B2B SaaS and startup/VC ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in AI tooling such as Chat GPT, Claude, etc.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail. Self-motivated team player.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment. A history of handling multiple projects, managing time and bias to action
  • Comfortable taking constructive feedback and voicing areas of opportunity for Compound to grow as a company
