Job Description

Job Title: Social Media Strategist

Type of Engagement: 3-month contract with possibility to extend (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)

Job Overview

As a Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, engage our target audience, and drive business objectives. You will work closely with the marketing team to create compelling content, analyze performance metrics, and stay ahead of industry trends to ensure our company remains a digital leader.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive organic and paid social media strategy aligned with overall marketing and business goals.
• Identify target audience segments and tailor content to resonate with each group.
• Content Creation: Create engaging and shareable content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, and Instagram.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually appealing and on-brand multimedia content.
• Community Engagement: Foster meaningful interactions with our online community through comments, messages, and discussions.
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activity, and relevant conversations.
• Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the performance of social media campaigns.
• Provide regular reports on key metrics and insights, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
• Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive user engagement and brand loyalty.
• Stay abreast of platform algorithm changes and adjust strategies accordingly.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in managing social media accounts for technology companies.
• Proficient in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist or similar role in a research & technology-focused environment.
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Familiar knowledge/experience working with the following tools: Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Ruby, Bitly, Monday.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $39.00 - $44.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
