College of Eastern Idaho is seeking a Social Media Specialist (part-time) to grow CEI Workforce Training presence across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The role works with the Associate Director of Communications and a marketing team to plan, create, and manage engaging content that promotes CEI’s mission and student life.
The ideal candidate will develop strategic content, edit short-form video, monitor engagement, and stay current with trends and best practices to maximize reach.
The Social Media Specialist will shape and grow College of Eastern Idaho Workforce Training presence across social media platforms. This creative role is key to telling CEI’s story, engaging the community, and making higher education feel more accessible and exciting. As a part-time position, it works closely with the Associate Director of Communications, CEI's social media specialist, and creative marketing team to plan, create, and manage content that promotes CEI’s mission, programs, and student life in fresh and compelling ways.
Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
On-site work is essential and regular predictable attendance is required. Employees may be required to work at occasional events and handle tasks outside of regular working hours.
Employment at College of Eastern Idaho will be contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background investigation and may require a credit and/or motor vehicle background investigation depending on the position. Please refer to Policy 225: Background Checks
