Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is seeking a Social Media Specialist to shape how our disruptor brands show up in culture, conversation, and consumers’ feeds. You will blend creativity, data, and social trends to build engaged online communities that drive brand relevance and growth.

You will develop social-first strategies, manage content calendars, collaborate with cross-functional teams and agency partners, and translate performance data into actionable recommendations for future content.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years in social media/digital marketing in CP G or food/snacking sectors.
  • Ability to develop and execute social media strategies aligned to business goals.

Responsibilities

As a Social Media Specialist, you will help shape how Campbell’s portfolio of Disruptor brands shows up in culture, conversation, and consumers’ feeds. You will play a key role in developing social-first strategies, creating breakthrough content, identifying cultural opportunities, and building engaged online communities that drive brand relevance, advocacy, and growth. By blending creativity, data, and a deep understanding of social trends, you will help our brands earn attention and connect authentically with consumers across the evolving social media landscape.

What you will do…
  • Develop and execute social media strategies that support brand and business objectives across a portfolio of Disruptor brands, including V8 Energy, Pace, Chunky, Snyder’s of Hanover, Kettle Brand, Late July, V8, Lance Crackers, and SpaghettiOs.
  • Create, publish, and optimize monthly and annual social content calendars aligned with marketing priorities and campaign goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and agency partners to develop channel-first content that drives engagement and brand growth.
  • Identify emerging social trends, cultural moments, and creator opportunities to keep brands relevant and competitive.
  • Maintain and optimize social media assets across owned channels, ensuring brand consistency and accuracy.
  • Develop and enhance social media standards, best practices, and content creation processes.
  • Manage content across owned social platforms while ensuring alignment to timelines, milestones, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Serve as a steward of brand voice, ensuring consistent messaging and storytelling across all social channels.
  • Drive audience growth and engagement through compelling, culturally relevant content.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics and growth trends on a recurring basis.
  • Leverage social listening tools and platform insights to identify opportunities, uncover consumer trends, and inform content strategy.
  • Translate performance data, audience insights, and social listening findings into actionable recommendations for future content and community engagement strategies.
  • Support content creation efforts, including multimedia, photography, video, and social-first storytelling initiatives.

What you bring to the table… (MUST HAVE)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • 3+ years of social media and/or digital marketing experience, preferably within a CPG company, agency, or food, beverage, or snacking organization.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content strategies, and social best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute social media strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Experience managing content calendars, publishing content, and supporting multi-channel social campaigns.
  • Strong social listening, trend identification, and cultural insight capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into content and engagement recommendations.
  • Experience establishing and measuring KPIs, engagement metrics, and content performance.
  • Hands-on experience creating social media content, including multimedia and digital assets.
  • Strong understanding of food-related content, food styling, and food photography best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, brands, and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Passion for social media, internet culture, creators, and emerging platform innovations.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and digital capabilities.

  • Experience working within the food, beverage, snacking, or broader consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Experience participating in or supporting video and photo shoots.
  • Experience with graphic design, creative asset development, and video editing tools.
  • Experience using social media management and analytics platforms such as Sprout Social.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and digital performance reporting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of creator marketing and influencer-driven content strategies.
  • Personal passion for food, meals, beverages, snacking culture, and culinary trends.
  • Ability to identify culturally relevant opportunities and bring fresh, innovative content ideas to brands.
  • A strong creative perspective combined with a data-driven approach to content optimization and audience engagement.
Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $64,600-$88,900 Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
