Position Purpose
Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Enrollment Marketing, the Social Media Coordinator will help execute a social media strategy that helps promote OU as the university of choice, strengthen the university’s social media presence, and increase engagement with the university community. This includes creating visual content for the web and social media, including photographs and video, managing the university’s social media calendar, mentoring social media intern(s) and measuring the performance of social media content and campaigns. The social media coordinator is a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for brand management. The coordinator will manage posts and social media advertising campaigns, listen to and engage with existing social media conversations, and produce robust metrics reports that demonstrate reach and relevance.
