Job summary

Social Habit Marketing, a Houston-based agency, seeks an Associate Social Media Marketer. This hybrid contract role involves developing content ideas, writing captions, and planning reels, Stories, and photos for multiple client accounts.

You’ll attend client shoots 2–3 days/week in The Heights, and may appear on camera. We value initiative, collaboration, and a strong portfolio; college is preferred but relevant experience matters more.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of social media or content marketing experience.
• Managed social accounts for a brand or client.
• Experience with Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Stories.
• Able to film and edit video.
• Strong captions without needing a rewrite.
• Organized enough to manage multiple clients.
• Comfortable with client meetings and shoots.
• Detail-oriented and fast-moving.
• Passionate about social media and trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop content ideas and turn them into posts.
• Write captions that sound like the brand.
• Plan and direct Reels, TikToks, Stories, and photos.
• Attend client shoots and capture required footage.
• Occasionally appear on camera when needed.
• Communicate with clients on content goals and deliverables.
• Review social performance and use insights to improve content.
• Stay current on platform trends, sounds, formats, and changes.
• Use CapCut, Canva, ChatGPT to streamline the process.
• Engage with online communities and monitor audience response.
