Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Social Impact Manager to lead two community programs end to end: GitLab for Nonprofits and GitLab for Education. You will connect technical implementation with program strategy to broaden access to GitLab for nonprofits, students, and educators.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, manage relationships, evaluate progress, and help expand program membership while ensuring effective support and resources across the ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing CSR or community programs.
• Experience with in-kind donation programs.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to coordinate across internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and GitLab is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage partnerships with nonprofits, universities, and program members.
• Oversee day-to-day operations for both programs, streamline processes.
• Lead internal program communications and manage inquiries.
• Develop metrics to track progress against objectives.
• Assist participants with product implementation and support resources.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to grow membership and renewals.
• Create resources for GitLab teams and community case studies.
• Collaborate on webinars, blogs, and spotlights.
• Track industry trends and establish best practices for social impact.
