Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a Coordinator of Digital Content to support Regional Content teams. You will help with creative development, content creation, digital publishing, and content performance reporting across multiple platforms.

The role involves monitoring social handles, creating performance reports, and contributing data-driven content recommendations to grow audience engagement. Flexible hours and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in social media strategy and content creation for a media organization or brand.
• Experience using editing tools such as Photoshop and Adobe Premiere.
• Exceptional knowledge of platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
• Experience creating performance reports using social media analytics platforms and translating data into actionable plans.
• Curious mindset with ability to spot trends in social media and create engaging content.
• Highly motivated, organized, and digitally driven.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and changing team dynamics.
• Availability for late-night, early-morning, weekend, and holiday work as needed.
• Flexible hours, including on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor station social handles to ensure publishing guidelines are followed.
• Prepare recurring performance reports and develop content plans to grow audiences and engagement.
• Create and distribute competitive content reports to position stations at the forefront of digital innovation.
• Track social media trends and contribute content recommendations to the team.
• Create low-lift content for distribution across all social platforms.
• Post trending content across station social platforms as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues within the Sinclair digital ecosystem and social platforms.
• Perform other duties related to social/digital content.
