Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a Coordin ator of Digital Content to join our Regional Content teams. You will support creative development, content creation, digital publishing, and performance reporting to grow audience and engagement across our stations.

The role requires 2–3 years of social media strategy and content creation experience, proficiency with Photoshop and Premiere, and strong analytics. This is a full-time on-site position based in Maryland.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in social media strategy and content creation for a media organization or brand (direct newsroom experience preferred)
• Experience using editing tools such as Photoshop or Adobe Premiere
• Exceptional knowledge of social platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok
• Experience creating performance reports using social analytics platforms and translating data into actionable plans

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned station social handles for publishing recommendations on copy, cadence and visuals
• Prepare recurring performance reports and help synthesize data for strategic content plans
• Create and distribute competitive content reports to keep stations at the forefront of digital innovation
• Track social media trends and contribute content recommendations for execution
• Create low-lift content for distribution across all social platforms
• Post trending content across station social platforms as needed
• Troubleshoot issues within Sinclair's digital ecosystem and social platforms
• Perform other duties related to social/digital content
