Job summary

Met Council is seeking a Social Care Network Lead/Warehouse Worker to support its New York food warehouse and Social Care Network pantry packing. The role combines inventory control, packing oversight, and general warehouse duties in a dynamic, community-focused environment.

Strong attention to detail, leadership, teamwork, and comfort with tablets for data entry are essential, along with the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and to work in a fast-paced setting. Steel-toe boots required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate electric jacks and forklift.
• Comfortable using an iPad/tablet for data entry and inventory management.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Act as floor lead for Social Care Network pantry packing.
• Accept incoming orders and ensure correct quantity and quality.
• Repalletize orders and check inventory for Social Care Network dry goods.
• Maintain inventory list for packing supplies and report lows.
• Oversee weekly Social Care Network packing day and guide the team.
