Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects in Southern California. You will oversee planning, design, and execution, serving as primary client contact and coordinating with our West Pacific group.

You will provide technical guidance, mentor staff, manage scope, schedule and budget, and ensure QA/QC across key deliverables while supporting business development efforts in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 4 years of related experience required.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months.
• Travel 10% or less; travel contingent on duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage and serve as Project Manager on major California water & wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance, leadership, and mentoring engineering staff to enhance our water services design capabilities.
• Responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects managed.
• Completing Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables.
• Assisting Client Service Leaders with technical marketing meetings with clients in the Southern California region.
• Participation in professional societies relevant to the industry.
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision makers in our clients’ organizations.
