Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co., LLC is seeking a District Manager to oversee SoCal markets (San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Inland Empire). The role focuses on safety, people, and revenue growth, with accountability for fleet performance and branch results.

You will partner with District Sales Managers to set goals, review reports, forecast revenues and expenses, and ensure exceptional customer relations while managing overtime and staffing.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of management experience preferred.
• Outside and/or inside sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of trench equipment and applications preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and sales skills required.
• Fluency in English required; second language a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Ability to obtain CPT/CSE Trainer Certification.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally, 90 lbs. seldom.

Responsibilities

• Review daily, weekly and monthly reports to monitor region and branch performance and take corrective action with deficiencies; develop action plans.
• Monitor fleet performance; review equipment requisitions for additional equipment.
• Prepare yearly business plan forecasting revenues, expenses, fleet ROI and utilization and overall branch growth.
• Collaborate with District Sales Managers to establish performance goals and development plans for sales personnel; monitor performance.
• Identify opportunities for growth in markets and verticals in coordination with company initiatives.
• Oversee development and/or maintenance of all customers within the District.
• Work with Branch Managers to manage overtime and staffing needs.
• Other duties as needed.
