Job summary

Autotrader, a Cox Automotive brand, seeks a Client Success Manager/Territory Sales Manager to support Southern/Central California Coastal dealers (Thousand Oaks, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Santa Maria). You will grow and retain subscription revenue and manage a portfolio of franchise and large independent dealers.

You will present creative solutions, provide insights, and collaborate with Cox Auto sales teams to drive referrals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience.
• Travel within an assigned sales territory will be required.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• Automotive industry or advertising media experience preferred.
• Experience working in a field-based environment preferred.
• Experience with social media, digital advertising, and internet platforms preferred.
• Proficiency with CRMs and analytic tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed revenue, retention, and referral goals.
• Manage Sales Pipeline and Forecasting.
• Maximize utilization of sales enablement systems, tools, and analytics.
• Expand relationships with multiple decision makers at dealer clients to maximize revenue and minimize cancellations.
• Advocate for assigned dealers during implementation and onboarding of solutions.
• Respond and route customer issues to the appropriate point of contact or business unit.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline

Master’s degree and 4 years’ experience

Ph.D. and 1 year of experience

10 years’ experience in a related field
