Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a SoC Verification Manager to lead the verification of next-generation 32-bit MCU products in the dsPIC Microcontroller Business Unit.

You will guide a 20+ engineers team, aligning architectural intent with silicon realization using UVM and Formal methods. You will drive end-to-end verification strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and push for automation and advanced techniques to ensure first-pass silicon success.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in SoC Verification.
• 5+ years in a formal leadership or management role.
• Experience tape-outs for 32-bit MCUs and familiarity with MCU peripherals (DMA, Timers, ADC/DAC, Security).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end verification strategy from test plan to tape-out sign-off for multiple MCU projects.
• Lead and develop a global team of 20+ verification engineers; manage resources and career growth.
• Define scalable testbench architectures for both simulation-based (UVM) and formal verification.
• Drive adoption of advanced techniques including Formal Verification, UPF/CPF power-aware verification, and HW-SW co-verification.
• Collaborate with Architecture, RTL Design, DSP, and Physical Design to resolve complex issues.
• Improve verification efficiency via automation and scripting; integrate AI-driven verification tools.
