Tech Systems Inc. (TSi) in Buford, GA is seeking a Security Operations Center Specialist to monitor video surveillance, access control, alarm, and security systems that protect people, facilities, and assets.

This role assesses alarm activity, dispatches responders, and documents incidents in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. Job duties include maintaining records, providing excellent customer service, and working shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; an Associates degree in Technical or Criminal Justice preferred.
Minimum 1 year experience in a Security Operations Center or 911 Dispatch Center.
Some law enforcement or military background is a plus.
Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Experience with physical security, including video surveillance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Excellent communication, written and verbal.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Monitors security access control systems, alarm systems, CCTV and other programs to protect employees, contractors, visitors, and assets.
Capable of making reasonable assessments of possible threats when viewing security cameras.
Maintains accurate records of all work performed and communicates any problems with security systems.
Answers incoming lines, staying calm and speaking clearly to customers.
Provides timely, efficient, and professional service to all clients to ensure satisfaction.
Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Attends to other matters and duties assigned by the Monitoring Center Manager or executives.
