Iron Mountain is seeking a committed Security Operator to join our North American SOC at the Boyers Underground Facility in Boyers, PA. You will monitor security systems, coordinate resources, manage incidents, and provide first-class customer service to protect people and assets.

The role requires 4–8 years in private security or related fields, an associate degree preferred, and hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in the private security sector or equivalent.
• Associate degree preferred in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of security alarm monitoring, dispatching, and resource coordination.
• Able to stay calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency with security tech and CCTV applications listed in the job description.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Continuous Monitoring & Threat Detection across CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Critical Incident Response & Dispatch following established protocols; escalate when needed.
• Ensure system integrity by following security procedures and reporting issues.
• Analyze threats, communicate with internal/external teams during incidents.
• Document security incidents and investigations clearly.
• Stay informed on current security threats and best practices.
