Job summary

The role requires experience with alarm and CCTV systems, coordination with field Officers, and strong written and verbal communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Honorable military discharge, AA degree, or 1 year in a center/security dispatch environment.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Technologically savvy - proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Operations Managers in ensuring execution of security procedures, responses at all posts by monitoring and maintaining alarm systems, responding to alarm activations, troubleshooting alarm issues, and reporting related security incidents.
• Ensures effective response to emergency and non-emergency situations, timely completion of reports and other requirements as directed by the SOC Manager.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly testing of durability, wellness, and assist alarms. Document and report any issues identified during testing.
• Employ the use of various systems software, security and communications equipment.
• Monitor CCTV systems, review incident reports, and conduct quarterly audits of CCTV equipment to ensure functionality and compliance.
• Monitor local news and media outlets for events or incidents that could affect company operations and elevate as necessary.
• Notifies and communicates with the Operations Managers and other senior personnel as required to ensure a common operating picture of the area of operations.
• Monitor the primary radio channel and dispatch Access Control Officers (ACOs) as needed to respond to incidents or service requests.
• Monitor security applications and triage alerts, escalating where appropriate.
• Investigate and resolve incidents to contain and remove security threats as safely and quickly as possible.
• Respond to emergencies and report any breaches or deviations from established security or safety protocols.
• Create and continue to develop cases using threat intelligence information and lessons learned as a result of any incidents and alerts.
• Understand operational KPIs and ability to utilize data to assist SOC Manager to drive operations.
