St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. seeks an onsite Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator in Pittsburgh, PA. This 24/7 role monitors alarms, assists customers, and coordinates with responders to protect people and property.

Paid training and certification as a Remote Security Officer are provided. Position offers both full-time and part-time options, with 2nd and 3rd shifts, weekends, and holidays required. Starting pay is $16.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service, call center, dispatch, or data entry preferred.
• Strong communication, computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and sound problem-solving abilities.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Experience with alarm monitoring, access control, or security systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alarms and respond according to established procedures.
• Communicate with customers, emergency responders, and internal teams to resolve alarm events.
• Provide professional customer service while handling a high volume of inbound calls.
• Accurately document activity and navigate multiple computer applications.
• Assist customers with account inquiries, alarm monitoring, and basic troubleshooting.
• Remain alert, organized, and focused in a fast-paced 24/7 operations environment.

Position Title

Employees hired into this role will hold the position title of Virtual Coordinator (Onsite). This posting uses the title Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator to better reflect the day-to-day responsibilities of the position.

Position Overview
