Job summary

Velaura is seeking a Senior Engineering Program Manager to drive the end-to-end Physical AI SoC program, spanning architecture, RTL, verification, physical design, tapeout, bring-up, and platform software.

You will coordinate internal teams, external IP providers, and manufacturing partners, surface risks early, and push for closure with startup speed in a high-growth, cutting-edge environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering program management in semiconductors, with at least one complex SoC program.
• Experience spanning silicon, platform hardware, and software.
• Hands-on experience with 3PIP vendor management and cross-vendor coordination.
• Fluent in RTL milestones, verification, physical design closure, and firmware bring-up.
• Strong schedule, risk management, change control, and stakeholder comms.
• Influence without authority across engineering, vendor, and executive audiences.
• Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SoC program plan: integrated schedule from architecture through tapeout and production readiness.
• Coordinate platform and software program execution in parallel with silicon milestones.
• Manage third-party IP vendor engagements: track milestones, contracts, and integration dependencies.
• Run program-level rhythm: milestone reviews, cross-functional syncs, and executive status reporting.
• Identify, quantify, and drive mitigation of program risks across workstreams.
• Coordinate external execution partners—foundry, OSAT, design services, and platform manufacturing.
• Build PM processes, tools, and templates for a growing engineering org.
