MediaTek is seeking a SoC Debug Architect to lead the design of comprehensive debug architectures across data center, mobile, automotive, and PC platforms. The role involves collaborating with hardware and software teams to address debug requirements and push the development of advanced debugging tools and methodologies.

Applicants should have deep knowledge of SoC debug, experience with post-silicon validation, and familiarity with Linux/Windows and automotive OS environments.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of SoC debug architecture.
• Familiarity with Linux, Windows, and automotive OS.
• Experience in post-silicon validation and debug tools.
• Basic understanding of software debug.
• Thorough knowledge of microprocessor architecture including ARM Debug Architecture, trace filtering, and mem-dump/scan dump techniques.
• Knowledge of Verilog and/or VHDL; experience with simulators and waveform debugging tools.
• Knowledge of logic design principles with timing and power implications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Define and develop SoC debug architecture for data center, mobile, automotive, and PC products.
• Collaborate with cross-domain teams to gather, analyze, and address debug requirements.
• Contribute to debug features, infrastructure, and tool definitions for system observability.
• Drive implementation of advanced debug methodologies and solutions.
• Analyze post-silicon validation and production debug activities for robust processes.
• Guide discussions with hardware and software teams to define debug capabilities and best practices.
