Job summary

Comcentric, Inc is seeking a SOC Analyst I for a 12-month contract in Herndon, VA. The position is hybrid and requires availability for 24x7 shifts.

You will monitor security events and alerts using Splunk and perform triage and investigation into alerts. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, Splunk SIEM experience, exposure to ServiceNow, and at least 2 years of security or incident experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with Splunk SIEM.
• Exposure to ServiceNow ticketing.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 SOC.
• Security certifications are a plus.
• 2 years of security or incident experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts using Splunk.
• Triage and investigate alerts.
• Use ServiceNow to track, document and log incidents and records.
• Perform initial triage to alarms.
